Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries (ENPPI) has signed a cooperation agreement with UK’s Wood Group, one of the biggest oil and gas deepwater engineering providers, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The new deal will support establishing a new operational and engineering partnership between the two companies to share technologies, knowledge, and expertise required for engineering work in the exploration and production (E&P) of natural gas and producing it from subsea fields, especially as Egypt is ongoing in huge natural gas development project, El Molla commented after the signing.
The agreement was signed by Enppi head Alaa Hegazy, and Colin McKinnon, Technical Director of Subsea and Export Systems at Wood Group.
Egyptian petroleum minister Tarek El Molla, UK Ambassador Sir Geoffrey Adams, and British Trade Envoy to Egypt, Jeffrey Donaldson, were in attendance.
